Connectifier and LinkedIn: Innovation through Partnership
A few weeks ago, we announced that Connectifier was acquired by LinkedIn. Today, we’re excited to share that Connectifier will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of LinkedIn.
We’ll continue to offer the Connectifier product you’ve grown to love, while making some key improvements, and some updates to align with LinkedIn’s members first philosophy. These changes include:
- Improved matching abilities will enable candidate communication via direct email on more profiles than before.
- Connectifier will deliver more accurate profile matches and more complete profile data via a new Connectifier-LinkedIn API integration, improving data quality and replacing profile information from third party sites which was sometimes incomplete or inaccurate.
- Connectifier Auto Search will continue to enable you to source candidate as you browse the web outside of LinkedIn, and Auto Search will have significantly improved profile matches on LinkedIn Recruiter.
At the same time we will be removing phone numbers, which historically were used by a limited number of users. We will also be removing links to social sites, but are looking into integrating this into other product experiences in the future, free for everyone.
We are focusing on our core market, as such, Connectifier will now only be available to recruiting professionals filling roles in the United States. Those affected will be contacted by a Connectifier representative for any applicable refunds to those specific accounts.
Connectifier has always aimed to create economic opportunity for the global workforce, and we’re excited about working in conjunction with the world’s largest professional network to bring you new Connectifier features in the future.
For additional information on the product and the integration, please reach out to your Connectifier representative or email@example.com. For LinkedIn’s perspective, check out a blog post from Eduardo Vivas, Head of Product for LinkedIn Talent Solutions, here.
