Roughly two years ago we started selling Connectifier to companies and recruiting firms who were serious about finding great talent. Today, companies everywhere have put Connectifier to use to help build their teams. We are proud to have built a truly innovative solution, and we are proud to help grow companies that do everything from build social networks to spacecraft, teams that run financial markets, operate the largest supply chains in the world, or build the computers or phones you might be reading this on now. We love our customers, and we are excited to help them in new and bigger ways. Today, we are excited to announce a major new development in our path to help customers: Connectifier is to be acquired by LinkedIn!
This was a complicated decision to make. Connectifier is growing rapidly and we could have kept growing independently for a long time. However, we are more excited to bring our technology and expertise to the world’s largest recruiting platform to benefit many more customers than we have reached on our own.
We believe that human capital is the world’s most important asset. We care about building deeply powerful technology to solve real problems. And we want the very best for our current and future customers. As we announce that we will be joining LinkedIn, these goals still drive us forward, and we believe that our most exciting product announcements lie in our future.
As we take this big next step, we’d like to say thank you. Thank you to our customers who believed in a small company with big ideas. Thank you to our investors who believed we were capable of doing something great before we had proven anything at all. But more than anything, we are deeply thankful to our team. So many people on our team made huge personal sacrifices and took big personal risks to be a part of something special. Our team is universally proud of what we’ve done so far, and proud to have launched Connectifier to this next step. While some of the team will be freely pursuing their next adventure, our R&D team will be relocating to the San Francisco Bay Area to play a large role in the future of the LinkedIn Talent Solutions product line.
Over the coming weeks, we will continue to support Connectifier’s existing products while we focus on making this integration successful—this involves determining how we can best integrate Connectifier to create the most value for our members, customers, and business. In the meantime, you will continue to have access to the product and your service will remain unchanged.
